Opened by Bishop Robert and Lawrence Llewelyn-Bowen, the Parish Forum, a new resource for the Parish of Cirencester, takes its name from the ‘Foro Romanum’ linking it to the historic setting of Corinium. Standing in the Market Place, it is a meeting place for one and for all where the Anglican Parish of Cirencester interacts with its local community.
It is an interface for conducting ‘parish business’, a drop in and outreach supporting the church’s work at the very heart of this wonderful Town. Our Diocesan Life vision – John 10.10 – compels us to engage with the community we aim to serve, using the Forum as a meeting place to enrich the life of the local church, whilst at the same time serving the pastoral and spiritual needs of our gathered congregations.
